Philadelphia, PAPhillyBite10 - I have been aware of the great farm to table with a twist restaurant Hash House A Go Go for a very some time having seen them on "Man vs. Food" which is one of my favorite shows. I have also read about all the accolades they have received from their several locations in Las Vegas such as "best breakfast," so I was beyond excited to learn that they were opening a place inside the Moorestown Mall 400 W Rt 38 Ste 1375, Moorestown NJ.

Hash House A Go Go - NJ Review

aReviewI had immediately made plans to travel by bus from my tiny apartment in Philadelphia to the Moorestown Mall to try them out when my great "Dining On A Dime" co-host John Cohl contacted me and asked me to attend the Hash House A Go Go Media tasting event.

I was so excited that I hurt my ankle after jumping for joy. The 1st thing that I noticed was how excellent the customer service is, the young man who was our server was a "fine dining quality" type server who was right there for our every need.

I don't usually mention the service aspect in my restaurant reviews because I know that people want to know about the food, but this service was so exceptional that it was significant enough to get acknowledged. So, now on to the delicious, farm to table with a twist food, the menu gives cool names for their incredible drinks and food.

First to come out was a beautiful stack of fried green tomatoes, and since they serve food with a twist, the fried green tomatoes had delicious, homemade chicken salad on top, I was also struck by how crispy the coating of the tomatoes was, they are usually soggy and mushy at most places.

I never order pancakes or waffles at a restaurant because I am a 3-egg omelet and Scrapple type of guy, but they served us the absolute, most delicious chicken and waffles that had bacon inside the waffle and the chicken was deliciously fried and juicy which isn't common these days. I always look for "Dining On A Dime" menu items at every restaurant I go into, and my pick here is their humongous "flapjacks" or pancakes, they are big enough to feed two and only cost around ten bucks.

I really loved the incredible service here, and the food more than exceeded my expectations, I loved every dish served and especially loved the delicious Andy's World-Famous Sage fried chicken and waffles.

I loved the large pancake so much that I took half home, I enjoyed the delicious food and the menu which includes several Indiana favorites and a large variety of stuffed burgers. I will be going "Mall shopping" a lot more often thanks to Hash House A Go Go, and I would suggest that you do the same.
