Philly's LGBT Gayborhood Dining Scene's. Philadelphia’s dining scene continues to draw national accolades for its quality and variety, from innovative gastropubs to inviting wine bars to new twists on Italian and other ethnic cuisines. Everyone is welcome at the table, whether the restaurants are located in the heart of the Philadelphia's Gayborhood in Center City or one of its adjacent up-and-coming neighborhoods. Here are some of the city’s newest spots that are popular with the LGBT community:
PhillyBite.com (Oct. 5 2015) Noord, chef Joncarl Lachman’s restaurant featuring Northern European cuisine, has been wowing East Passyunk diners since its opening back in 2013. Neuf now Open, is an Italian Market restaurant focusing on the warm, French-influenced flavors of North Africa.
Federal Donuts announced that its popular fried chicken sandwich will now be a permanent menu item beginning on Monday, September 14. The popular sandwich was a huge success this summer. It's a boneless version of FedNuts' double-fried chicken sandwich on Martin's potato roll, with buttermilk ranch seasoning, spicy sauce, American cheese, and pickles. It'll hit the menu at $6.75 and, like the rest of the chicken offerings, will be available daily starting at 11 a.m.
