Point Breeze’s tiki-inspired oasis, is excited to announce the launch of a new brunch program this Saturday, September 16th, with modern twists on Polynesian classics, savory and sweet brunch staples, and tiki cocktails!



The concise, yet vibrant menu will boast island-inspired cuisine and cocktails, including the Tuna Poké ($10.50), served with watermelon and wasabi puffed rice; and Aloha, Mr. Burg ($9), a tiki cocktail boasting freshly squeezed watermelon, saké, rum, and velvet falernum.

Burgs Brunch Burgs Brunch French ToastGuests will also enjoy creative twists on brunch staples, including French Toast ($9.50), served with blueberry rum compote and coconut; B’fast Burrito ($12.50), served with beans, eggs, cheese and corn salad; and Steak and Eggs ($12.50), served with two sunnies, salsa verde and home fries. The Gâteau de Crêpe ($8.50), a showstopping, delectable layered crepe cake, served in a pool of peaches and cream sauce, is sure to satisfy any brunch goer’s sweet tooth.



“We wanted to create a simple menu with depth of flavors in a fun, relaxed atmosphere,” said Jonathan Makar, Food and Beverage Director for Burg’s Hideaway Lounge and sister restaurant, The Sidecar Bar and Grille. “There’s not many spots in Philly where you can drink a tiki cocktail and enjoy Tuna Poké for brunch. Starting this weekend, you can do just that in our Point Breeze oasis.”

In addition to the Aloha, Mr. Burg, guests can enjoy a Bloody Murray ($9), vodka, spices, pastrami-soaked salmon, or The Cure ($9), a raw, non-alcoholic cocktail, made with kale, cucumber, pineapple, apples, lime and ginger, as well as a selection of wine and a rotating beer list.

Burg’s has also launched a new dinner menu this week, featuring refreshingly affordable, Polynesian-inspired dishes like Mushroom & Kimchi Springrolls ($7.50), Big Island Barbeque Wings ($7.50), Sesame Tuna ($12) and Miso Char ($10), among the mix.

Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday 10am-3pm. Dinner is served daily 5pm-1am.
