Pennsylvania's Largest Food Truck Event Returns: April 2026PHILADELPHIA, PA – The wait is over for food lovers across the Tri-State area. The largest food event in Philadelphia—and the single largest food truck festival in the state of Pennsylvania—is officially rolling back into town.

The Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival returns to historic Main Street on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. This year’s edition isn't just a return to form; it’s a record-breaking expansion. With a lineup of over 90 food trucks and gourmet vendors, the festival is staking its claim as one of the premier one-day food events in the country.

A Culinary Marathon on Main Street

For one day only, Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic, transforming the historic neighborhood into a pedestrian-only paradise. The 2026 lineup reads like a "who’s who" of the regional mobile food scene. Attendees can expect award-winning favorites from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, including:

  • Savory Icons: Bake’n Bacon, Deke’s BBQ, and Cousins Maine Lobster.
  • Global Flavors: Mom Mom’s Polish Food, Moshava, and Kanto Filipino BBQ.
  • Trend-Setters: Instagram-ready treats like Bacon on a Stick, Cloud Cups Gelato, and the legendary Famous 4th Street Cookie Company.

"This is the first big blockbuster festival of the spring season in Philadelphia," says the Manayunk Development Corporation. With over 150 participating businesses—including 35+ local Manayunk shops and restaurants—the event's footprint has been significantly expanded for 2026 to accommodate the massive crowds.

More Than Just a Meal

While the food is the headliner, the StrEAT Festival offers a full day of entertainment. Music lovers can catch six live acts across two stages located at Green Lane and Shurs Lane. The 2026 roster includes local favorites like The Jimmies, The Honey Badgers, and Pepperwine.

For those looking to shop, 24 local artists and makers will be lining the streets, selling everything from handmade jewelry to custom pottery. New for this year, a specially designated family-friendly area at the bottom of Lock Street will feature a kids' bounce house, activities from the Friends of Roxborough Library, and additional seating to give families a place to recharge.
