MT. AIRY, PA — The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA), a perennial "Best of Philly" winner, has officially opened registration for its popular Spring Break Circus Camps. Designed for students in grades K-7, the program aims to keep local youth active and engaged during the upcoming school break.
The camps will take place at the historic Circus Campus, situated in the former St. Madeleine Sophie Church. The facility provides a unique training environment, featuring a 40-foot high sanctuary for aerial fabric and trapeze, a separate gymnasium, and extensive outdoor green space for physical theatre and skill-building.
Program Details:
- Dates: Monday, March 30 – Friday, April 3
- Cost: $95 per day
- Activities: Aerial sling, wire walking, juggling, tumbling, and clowning.
- Requirements: No prior experience or previous PSCA enrollment is necessary.
"Circus Campus is the most unique place in Philadelphia to spend those days off," says Executive Director Kitsie O’Neill. "Kids can swap out days in the classroom with a different kind of school where they will be engaged in circus arts, skill building, and pure fun."
To accommodate working families, PSCA is offering tiered childcare options:
- Standard Camp: 9:00am – 3:00pm
- After Care: 3:00pm – 6:00pm ($35 additional)
- Extended Care: 6:00pm – 7:00pm ($15 additional)
