PHILADELPHIA, PA - Philadelphia's favorite wood-fired bagel purveyor is heading south—not just in geography, but in flavor. To celebrate its recent expansion into Atlanta and the broader Southeast, Spread Bagelry has announced a limited-edition spring menu that blends Northern craftsmanship with Southern comfort.
Starting Wednesday, April 22nd, fans of the brand's signature honey-water-boiled bagels can expect a delicious nod to the "Empire State of the South."
The Star of the Show: The Carolina Brisket Stack. The heavy hitter of this seasonal launch is undoubtedly the Carolina Brisket Stack ($16). This isn't your average breakfast sandwich; it's a powerhouse of regional flavors featuring:
- Tender BBQ brisket
- Tangy Carolina-style mustard and vinegar sauce
- Folded eggs and melted cheddar
- A brand-new, house-made crispy hash brown tucked right inside for the ultimate crunch.
Sweet Heat and Southern Sips: For those craving something lighter, the Georgia Peach cream cheese offers a sweet, slightly tart profile that screams springtime. It’s available on your choice of bagel ($6.50) or in tubs to take home. To wash it all down, Spread is introducing a house-made sweet tea ($3), brewed fresh daily.
A New Sidekick Perhaps the most exciting permanent addition is the debut of Spread’s house-made hash browns. Available as a standalone side for $2.25 or a $2 add-on to any sandwich, these shredded potato patties provide the perfect textural contrast to the dense, chewy "wood-fired" bagel Spread is known for.
These offerings will be available through mid-July at all 17 Spread Bagelry locations.
