What to Know Before Going to The Philadelphia Flower ShowPhiladelphia, PA - For the first time in its history, the 2021 Philadelphia Flower Show is being held at the historic Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park (FDR Park) in South Philadelphia. Given the pandemic, the move allows PHS to present the show safely at the height of the gardening season and with the outdoors' added health benefits.


 

The Philadelphia Flower Show Info and Tips

Bring your tickets! Remember to download your tickets to your smartphone or print them out at home and bring them with you. Can’t find your tickets? Please call our Customer Care team at 1-888-850-8718. If all else fails, stop by Will Call located at the Main Gate upon your arrival at the Flower Show to request a reprint.

Wearing Masks at The Flower Show

Staying Safe at the Show: Please note that as of May 21, the City of Philadelphia has updated its policy regarding mask-wearing indoors and outdoors. The PHS Flower Show will be following these guidelines. Therefore, fully vaccinated people are recommended but not required to wear masks outdoors and required to wear masks indoors.

People who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear masks except when eating and drinking. Remember to bring your mask! You’ll need it for our indoor spaces. Please check the website regularly before your entry date for the latest updates.



The Flower Show is a Rain or Shine Event

Check the weather! We hope to provide the best Flower Show experience possible. However, we cannot control Mother Nature! The Flower Show is a rain or shine event. Please pack for the anticipated weather to join us at the Show, even if it may be under an umbrella, rain hat, or poncho!

What to Wear at The Flower Show

Dress appropriately! Wear comfortable shoes and sun protection! The Park features varied terrain, and you will want protection from the elements during your session.



Getting to the Flower Show

You may enter the Showgrounds at any time throughout your selected session, up until 30 minutes before the end time of that session. The last entry each day is 30 minutes before closing. Re-entry on your ticket is not permitted at this year’s Show.  

Where to Park at The Flower Show

After arriving in South Philadelphia, look for courtesy shuttles that serve all official Flower Show parking lots to access the Main Entrance for the Flower Show. Shuttles will run daily during Show dates, providing complimentary shuttle transportation to and from designated parking lots surrounding FDR Park.

The shuttles begin operation approximately one hour before the show opens and run one hour after the show closes. Parking shuttles will run from the Naval Hospital Lot only during Member’s Preview on June 4.   Our Show Ambassadors are ready to welcome you and answer your questions while guiding you to the Main Entrance.  

What Can You Bring to The Flower Show

You are welcome to bring in smaller bags, strollers, and other small personal items. Guests can only bring purses, medical bags, backpacks, and diaper bags into FDR Park to expedite entry. Coolers, other large bags, and wheeled bags are not permitted. Bags can be no larger than 16”x16”x8” and will be subject to inspection upon entry.
