PHILADELPHIA — If you've ever wanted to eat a burger inside a snow globe, Craftsman Row Saloon might be the closest you'll get this holiday season.
The Jeweler’s Row staple, known for its over-the-top holiday transformations, has officially launched its 2025 pop-up theme: Miracle on 8th Street. Owners George and Vasiliki Tsiouris have nearly doubled the decorations from last year, turning the bar into a maximalist winter wonderland that leaves no corner untouched.
The numbers alone are staggering. According to the owners, the space is now packed with:
-
60,000+ ornaments dripping from the ceilings and walls.
-
20,000+ twinkling lights creating a warm, festive glow.
-
6,000+ feet of garland weaving through the dining room.
-
Hundreds of wreaths, nutcrackers, and deer stationed throughout the venue.
New for this year is a 70-foot train track suspended from the ceiling, adding a nostalgic touch of motion above the bar. Guests are greeted by a "Santa’s Letters Mailbox" at the entrance and can dine next to a banquette featuring a "snow-covered window" scene.
"We wanted to go for the 'wow' factor when you came in the front door," said co-owner George Tsiouris. "But we also want you to discover all the fine small details hidden throughout the space."
The exterior hasn't been ignored, either. A four-story light show illuminates the building facade, signaling to passersby that the holidays have arrived on 8th Street.
The pop-up runs daily through January 2025. For the first time, Craftsman Row will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, starting at noon.
