PHILADELPHIA - Fishtown is dusting off its lederhosen and dirndls as two distinct Oktoberfest celebrations prepare to take over the neighborhood this September. Whether you want a traditional German street block party or an exclusive beer garden bash with an electronic twist, the neighborhood's craft beverage hubs have every base covered.
15th Annual Frankford Hall Oktoberfest
- When: Saturday, September 19, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Frankford Hall marks a major milestone with its 15th annual celebration, shutting down the 1200 block of Frankford Avenue for eight hours of open-air revelry. The Polka Brothers will provide the soundtrack with live traditional and modern polka tunes, setting the stage for street dancing. Guests can look forward to steins of classic German-style beers, Bavarian soft pretzels, grilled sausages, festive street decor, and plenty of room to celebrate with friends, family, and four-legged companions.
Evil Genius Oktoberfest

- Where: Evil Genius Beer Garden (1727 N. Front Street)
- Admission: Ticketed 21+ event ($30 GA, $50 VIP); capped at 100 guests
One week later, Evil Genius Beer Company reinvents the German harvest tradition inside its newly formatted outdoor beer garden. Limited to just 100 attendees for an intimate vibe, the 21-and-over party pairs German-themed bites with DJ Bob Beast spinning EDM-infused oompah beats. Attendees are encouraged to don traditional trachtenwear for a best-dressed contest, and anyone with serious forearm stamina can enter the classic stein-holding competition.
Every ticket includes a custom Evil Genius glass stein. General admission ($30) includes one stein fill with access at 1:00 PM, while VIP tickets ($50) grant noon early entry and two fills. The draft lineup features four exclusive German-style brews:
