Tinsel is a 100-year-old former jewelry shop in Philadelphia’s Midtown Village neighborhood transformed into a kitschy and charming holiday pop-up concept. The interior is awash with thousands of twinkly lights, yards of tinsel, art installations, hundreds of ornaments and hanging presents, a light show, retro decor, and more! Enjoy thematic drinks like the Tinsel Snowglobe (with vodka, maple, lemon, ginger ale and tapioca balls), eggnog, warm cocktails, beer and cider. Plus a portion of sales from the Canned for Good cocktail will be donated to Manna.

2. Craftsman Row Saloon

Craftsman Row Saloon is not far from Tinsel and offers plenty of festive vibes. The decorations are top-notch, with tons of lights, garlands, ornaments and Santa hats. The beverage menu is dedicated to holiday cocktails like the Gingerbread Margarita and the Ornamentini (served in an actual ornament). Plus, don’t miss out on their over-the-top milkshakes like the Pumpkin’ to Talk About shake garnished with an entire piece of pumpkin pie.

3. Butchers Bar

Butchers Bar carves out its own holiday nook called Yule Lodge in its enclosed back patio. Enjoy cozy cabin vibes with a real fireplace plus whiskey drinks like the Smoked Black Cherry Manhattan and eggnog served in a Moose-shaped glass.

4. Uptown Beer Garden

Uptown Beer Garden transitions into U-Ville for November and December – a Seuss-ian Christmas bar with Grinch-inspired decor and holiday cocktails. Don’t miss out on all the amazing photo ops with a Christmas tree, Grinch-shaped neon light tunnel and more!



5. Taqueria Amour

Taqueria Amour on Main Street in Manayunk gets a holiday makeover from November 17 through January 2 as Senor Grinch’s. The entire exterior of the building is decked out with lights while inside you can enjoy thematic cocktails from the special holiday menu like Bad Santa (a tiki number) or Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel (an allspice pineapple marg).
