PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Eagles will be without an anchor on their offensive line for at least the next month. The team is placing three-time Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson on injured reserve (IR) due to a lingering right knee injury.
The roster move guarantees Dickerson will miss at least the next four games as he rehabilitates, leaving Philadelphia to adjust its interior front during a critical early-season stretch.

Dickerson initially suffered a severe bone bruise when he was "rolled up on" during a training camp practice several weeks ago. Although cleared to suit up for Philadelphia's 24-22 season-opening victory over the Washington Commanders, the 27-year-old guard visibly struggled with lateral mobility and power at the point of attack.
During a Monday appearance on SportsRadio 94WIP, Dickerson pulled no punches regarding his play, taking full accountability for his performance.
"I was a complete liability out there," Dickerson admitted candidly, adding that he shouldn't be on the field until he is fully healthy and capable of performing at standard.
Addressing outside speculation, Dickerson shut down any whispers of early retirement. He emphasized that the four-game IR window is designed specifically to allow the bone bruise to heal completely so he can return at 100% for the back end of the campaign.

Under NFL injured reserve rules, Dickerson must sit out a minimum of four contests. His absence includes upcoming matchups against:
