Philadelphia, PAEast Passyunk Shopping Sale - East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID), home to more than 150 independently-owned businesses in South Philadelphia, is hosting "Shop Small, Shop Local: East Passyunk's Summer Sidewalk Sale," an afternoon of shopping locally-made, Philadelphia-themed, vintage finds, pop-ups, and grab-and-go fare, with a line-up of live music and entertainment, on Saturday, July 10 from morning till night.


East Passyunk Avenue Summer Sale

This all-day, summer sidewalk sale supports East Passyunk Avenue's bevy of independently owned retail shops and services. It offers locals and tourists an opportunity to browse various digs, wares, accessories, and so on. Popular retail outlets such as Nice Things Handmade, Occasionette, and NRS Boutique will set up racks, tables, and unique pop-ups along their storefronts for folks to shop, during each businesses' particular hours of operation. A sample of the many participants includes the following:

  • A Novel Idea 1726 E Passyunk Ave – Sidewalk browsing, including 40% off sales car, $1 books, and brand-new releases.
  • Bianca Simone 1740 E Passyunk Ave – Offering a sale rack with various women's and kid's clothing.
  • Good Buy Supply 1737 E Passyunk Ave – Hosting a pop-up with Timberline Farms.
  • South Fellini 1507 E Passyunk Ave – Philly-themed tees, hats, pins, and more.
  • Utopia Collective 1914 E Passyunk Ave – Curated home goods, gifts, and décor.

"Continuing to shop small and local this summer season is vital in keeping businesses we love and frequent vibrant," said Adam Leiter, Executive Director of East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District. "We figure what better way to support small than by hosting a Saturday sidewalk sale for the neighborhood to check out and browse the many diverse offerings."

Additionally, EPABID will host live music featuring local musical acts at the Singing Fountain for folks to enjoy during the summer stroll. As for the fare, indoor and outdoor dining will be available at Avenue hotspots, plus grab-and-go options from Arctic Scoop, Essen Bakery, Redcrest Fried Chicken, Stargazy, and Vanilya Bakery.
