Brighton Beach in Brooklyn has been nicknamed Little Odessa because of its Eastern European and Russian influences. This beach is laid back, unlike Coney Island. Visitors can enjoy traditional Russian food and hot dogs while watching the world go by. The beach is often crowded, so be sure to plan accordingly.
