Treating ice cream like an exclusive streetwear drop, this Philly staple is releasing limited batches of wild new flavors. Here is the schedule.
If you want to taste the most exclusive ice cream in Philadelphia this summer, you are going to need to set an alarm. The Franklin Fountain is officially rolling out its summer drop schedule, featuring 26 brand-new, highly experimental flavors.
Unlike their traditional menu, these flavors are strictly first-come, first-serve. For context on just how limited these drops are, the opening weekend will feature exactly 15 Charcuterie Board Flights and 32 Caramelized Garlic Toffee Pints. Once they are gone, they are gone.

- April 3: Charcuterie Board Flight (Moliterno, Brie, Fig, Olive Oil) & Caramelized Garlic Toffee Pint
- April 17: Elderberry Goat Cheese Pint
- May 2: Tea Flight (Hydrangea, London Fog, Chai, Honeysuckle)
- May 9: Bastani (Saffron, Rose, Pistachio) Pint
- May 23: Caprese Pint
- June 6: Baked Goods Flight (Pomegranate Scones, Blueberry Cobbler, Banana Bread, Lemon Bar) & Peach Scone Pint
- June 20: Box ‘o Chocolate Pint
- July 3: Smokey Cherry Wood Pint
- July 18: Black Sesame Amaretto Pint
- August 8: Herb Flight (Thyme, Rosemary, Sage and Basil) & Plum Pint
- August 22: Prickly Pear Passionfruit Pint
All drops begin at 11:00 AM at The Franklin Fountain (116 Market Street). Pints and flights will also be available at the Franklin Ice Cream Bar next door once it opens for the season. Fans are encouraged to watch the shop's social media channels for exact stock updates and teasers.
