A Look Inside the New Market at the Wanamaker Light ShowPHILADELPHIA — Imagine sipping a craft cocktail and shopping for handmade jewelry while 100,000 LED lights twinkle above you to the sound of the Wanamaker Organ.

That is the vibe at the newly announced Shops at Wanamaker Light Show, debuting this holiday season. Transforming the Grand Court into a festive bazaar, the market features 30 local makers offering everything from gourmet bacon jams to alpaca wool clothing.

What’s on the Shelves? The vendor list is a "who's who" of local creativity. Highlights include:

  • For the Foodie: Gourmet spreads from The Bacon Jams, raw honey from Thornberry Apiary, and holiday treats from the legendary Tiffany’s Bakery.
  • For the Philly Fan: Ornaments and prints from Ana Thorne and Lil' Philly Maker's Collective.
  • For the Fashionable: Designer jewelry from Lily Lough, alpaca accessories from Winterborn Alpaca, and quirky clothing from Christine Shirley.
  • For the Home: Hand-blown glass from B and B Glass Studio and houseplants from The Leafy Branch.

Sip While You Shop The market isn't just about retail; it's about relaxation. The pop-up will feature the Snowflake Cocktail Bar, serving fresh-poured craft cocktails for adults and kid-friendly beverages for the little ones. Visitors can grab a drink, watch the light show (which runs every hour on the half-hour starting at 12:30 p.m.), and browse the stalls without ever stepping out into the cold.

When to Go The market opens November 28, 2025. To catch both the shopping and the show, aim for the afternoon—light shows run hourly from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with an extra 6:30 p.m. show added starting December 12.
