PHILADELPHIA, PA - Philadelphia is pulling out all the stops for the 5th Annual Philly Pride Month. Coinciding with the city's America 250 and Philly 250th themes, this year's 30-day celebration honors the freedom to be out, loud, and proud in the Birthplace of America. With over 150,000 attendees expected across the region, here are the major kickoff events and headlining attractions you cannot miss in 2026.
The Ben Franklin Bridge Rainbow Lighting
To kick off the month, the iconic Benjamin Franklin Bridge will transform into a massive 1.8-mile-long Pride rainbow.
- Dates: June 1-3, 9-13, 16-17, and 22-27.
- Best Viewing Spots: Penn's Landing, Cherry Street Pier, Spruce Street Harbor Park, and the Camden Waterfront.
Official Philly Pride Month Kick-Off
Join city officials, community leaders, and organizers for the official dedication of the giant Philadelphia Pride flag.
- Where: Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square (120 S. 17th St.)
- When: Tuesday, June 2 at 12:00 PM
- Details: The event features remarks from Tito Valdes, Esq. (Director of LGBTQ+ Affairs) and Councilmember Rue Landau.
Philly Pride March and Festival: "Pride is Power"
The centerpiece of the month is making a historic move in 2026. Philly Pride 365 is relocating to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to accommodate massive crowds and improve accessibility.
- When: Sunday, June 7 (March step-off at 11:00 AM, Festival from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
- Cost: The march is free; festival admission is $10.
5th Annual Pride Concert with The Philadelphia Orchestra
Hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race winner Trixie Mattel, this audience-favorite concert celebrates LGBTQ+ composers and allies.
- Where: Marian Anderson Hall at the Kimmel Center
- When: Tuesday, June 30 at 7:00 PM (Pre-Concert Celebration at 4:30 PM)
- Cost: Free tickets required (subject to availability).
