City Works expands its craft beer repertoire with the addition of beer growlers to the menu. Restaurant guests can now choose from one of the city's biggest craft beer selections of local, regional, and global craft brews and take home a 64 oz. jug of their favorite.

City Works growlers range in price from $20-$60, offering a wide variety of suds from breweries such as Yards Brewing Co., Tröegs Independent Brewing, Victory Brewing Co., Yuengling Brewery, and so many more. Bottlenectar, a light bodied pale ale brewed exclusively for City Works and other Bottleneck Management restaurants by Goose Island, is available in growlers for $24. Guests can opt to buy the half gallon glass growler for an additional $5.

“We’re so excited to start offering growlers! It’s fun to think of our guests feeling like kids in candy stores while they choose from our massive craft selection, deciding what to take home,” says Angela Zoiss, Vice President of Marketing for Bottleneck Management. “The growlers also make great holiday gifts for beer lovers and are a great addition to holiday parties.”

City Works growlers are now available for purchase in the restaurant for take out only. City Works is open Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-12 a.m., and Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-1 a.m

Over a quarter of the immense draft selection at City Works is sourced from breweries around Philadelphia, including Crunch from Manayunk Brewery, DirtWolf from Victory Brewing Company, Sour Pale Ale from Free Will Brewing Company, Royal Weisse from Sly Fox Brewing Company, and many others. Beers are offered in full-sized portions, as well as 6 oz. tasting portions to provide guests the opportunity to taste and enjoy the wide selection. Pre-selected flights are on the menu, and a build-your-own flight option is available as well. With a constantly rotating draft list, there is always a new rare brew on tap.

The dining menu offers guests a wide selection of options for a business lunch, a dinner date, or game-watching, including Duck Confit Nachos, Wild Mushroom Flatbread, and the namesake City Works Burger topped with aged white cheddar, lettuce, dill pickle, vine-ripened tomato, served on a toasted brioche bun. Entrees include a chipotle maple-glazed Pork Chop, Smoked BBQ Ribs with house-made BBQ sauce, mascarpone creamed corn, coleslaw, and Idaho thick cut fries, and an Atlantic Salmon with braised fennel, oven dried tomatoes and crème fingerling potatoes. With a focus on fresh food and brilliant flavors, 98% of the menu is made from scratch.
