Make sure to order the horchata, or choose from their wide variety of Mexican drinks and specialty margaritas.

4. Santangelo's Cafe Located at 910 E Main Street, Santangelo's Cafe is a beloved neighborhood staple open daily from 7 AM to 3 PM. While they are famous for their classic Italian hoagies, the true star of the menu is their breakfast hoagie—an incredible, heavy-hitting combination of sausage, bacon, pork, roasted peppers, and eggs. You can get it piled high on a Kaiser roll or a massive 16-inch long roll to fuel you for the rest of the day.

5. Eve's Lunch You simply cannot write a Norristown food guide without including the hometown sandwich: the Zep.
