Montreal Beach Resort Is Under New Ownership in Cape May
Local hotel company Madison Resorts, owned by Dan Alice, has acquired the resort and restaurant at 1025 Beach Ave. in Cape May, intending to keep the hotel's iconic name and look to the near future. Madison Resorts will provide refurbished hotel rooms and room service at the Montreal Beach Resort and Harry's Ocean Bar and Grille.
"My wife was born and raised in Cape May County, and now managing part of her history is a childhood dream come true for both of us. We are honored by the Hirsch family for placing their trust in Madison Resorts. Madison Resorts will completely modernize the rooms and lobby of the Montreal Beach Resort and make minor improvements to the hotel while maintaining its identity. It is committed to providing exceptional guest service and making sure the community comes first in our hearts," Alicia said in a press release.
Harry's Ocean Bar and Grille will add new food and beverages to its existing menu and offer room service under new ownership. Madison Resorts intends to provide pleasure with additional entertainment and live music offerings. The new owners will retain most of the long-term resort and restaurant staff. Some new faces will be joining the team to continue providing optimal service.
