PHILADELPHIA - Get your best all-white attire ready. Philadelphia's most anticipated pop-up picnic, Dîner en Blanc, is officially returning for its 14th year on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The scramble for tickets to this exclusive, secret-location event begins tomorrow, Thursday, July 16, when registration opens to the public.
An "America 250" Celebration
This year's event promises to be especially historic. Tying into the upcoming Semiquincentennial festivities, the 2026 Dîner en Blanc will feature an "America 250" theme. The night will pay homage to the deep connection between the event's 1988 founding in Paris and France's pivotal role as an ally during the American Revolution.
Attendees are encouraged to lean into the theme by adding touches of Americana flair to their elaborate tablescapes and signature all-white outfits.

The Dîner en Blanc Experience
If you have never attended, Le Dîner en Blanc is part elegant dinner party and part massive logistical achievement. On the day of the event, thousands of attendees gather at designated meeting spots and are led by volunteers to a secret outdoor location in the city.
Guests must bring their own tables, chairs, white tablecloths, and picnic baskets. Once set up, the evening features a mass dining experience followed by dancing and live entertainment, including multiple bands, a DJ, and roaming artists.
How to Get Tickets
Securing a spot at Dîner en Blanc requires a bit of preparation. Here is exactly how to register:
- Sign Up: If you are not already a member, head to philadelphia.dinerenblanc.com.
- Create an Account: Click on "Attend Dîner en Blanc" and select "Create Account" to join the fan list (Phase 3).
- Wait for the Invite: Everyone who creates an account will receive an invitation to register.
- Register: Registration officially opens at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 16. Tickets include entry for two guests.
- Act Fast: Registration will remain open only until the event reaches full capacity, and tickets traditionally sell out quickly.
