United Way's Women United Honors Tracy Davidson During Annual Gala Philadelphia, PA - Tracy Davidson, NBC 10 News Today anchor as well as 11-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, will be the recipient of the 2019 Women United Award at The United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey's (UWGPSNJ) yearly Women United Gala on March 27, 2019, at Philadelphia's Crystal Tea Room. The honor is awarded annually to a female leader in the community who has provided her time and talent in support of our regions United Way.

GTLT is Women United's signature program that assists young girls in grades 7 all the way through 12 studying at schools in underserved neighborhoods, to remain on track to graduate high school equipped for college and the future.

"All you have to do is talk with any of the girls, and you'll learn how transformative GTLT has been for them. Goals that once seemed impossible, the girls now confidently feel are within reach," says Davidson. "Women talk about reaching back and helping the next generation coming up; GTLT is the full embodiment of that, and I'm proud to support the program, the girls, and every one of the mentors."

Ever since its creation, more than 5 million dollars has continued to be raised to help GTLT achieve its goals. Additional information could be found at UnitedForImpact.org/GTLT.
