Big Chicken Chain Opening In Comcast Center

O.V.G. Hospitality will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of this new facility. O.V.G. Hospitality's local catering division, Brulee Catering, will oversee the daily operation. Big Chicken is open from 10 am-5 pm, Monday to Friday, for lunch and early dinner. Big Chicken will serve up mouth-watering sandwiches and some of Shaquille's home-cooked childhood favorites.

We are thrilled to bring BIG flavor, BIG food, and BIG fun to the City of Brotherly  Love,” said Josh Halpern, CEO of Big Chicken. “We’re grateful for our partnership with Oak View  Group and Comcast for the opportunity to introduce Big Chicken to Philadelphia for the first time  at such an iconic site.”

The signature sandwich will be on the menu, as well as the "M.D.E." chicken sandwich (Hot Chicken, Mayo, and Pickles), the "Uncle Jerome" (Nashville Hot Chicken, Mayo, and Pickles), the "SHAQ Attack" (pepper-jack cheese, jalapeno slaw, and spicy chipotle barbecue sauce), and the "Superman." (Swiss Cheese, smashed Avocado, Ranch). There's also popcorn Chicken, one of Shaqs favorites.

”OVG Hospitality has a long-standing partnership with the Big Chicken team,” said Ken Gaber, OVG Hospitality's President. “Their delicious chicken sandwiches are already available at several OVG-managed arenas nationwide, from Seattle and Palm Springs to Tempe and  Austin and most recently Baltimore, so opening a Big Chicken in Philadelphia was a natural next step. We’re excited to introduce Philadelphians to Big Chicken and hope they come with a BIG  appetite.”

For those who want to end their meal on a sweet note, there is a selection of shakes made with all-natural southern vanilla ice cream produced by Scott Bros Dairy, which uses hormone-free milk from California to produce all-natural, southern vanilla ice cream.
