Snacktime at the OvalPhiladelphia, PA - SNACKTIME is Philadelphia's beloved brass-heavy rock band with funk, punk, and jazz influences. They will perform at The Oval's inaugural Out of Sight concert on Friday, 7th July, from 6:30 – 10 pm. Out of Sight features headliner SNACKTIMEas and notable Philadelphia DJ Killsingand rapper Eshu Tone.

The event will partner with Parkway Council as part of their "Parkway Presents" and mark the return of The Oval, the beloved pop-up park presented by WSFS Bank. It will run until 20 August 2023. Food trucks will be available on-site for attendees to purchase. Forin Café will provide pastries and non-alcoholic drinks in the 21,000-foot beer gardens at The Oval. The event is free, and no registration is required.

Sam Gellerstein, the co-founder of SNACKTIME, said, "It is all about getting people outside and grooving with each other." "Philly has been through a great deal in 2023, and we are only halfway through." We all could benefit from learning new dance moves and being silly.

SNACKTIME will collaborate with Will Yap, a world-renowned music production, on their second studio album. The album, which will be released later this year, was recorded at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, just outside Philadelphia. It will consist of a six-track EP entirely composed of original music. The EP will be SNACKTIME’s first studio release since their debut album Sound From the Street: LIVE!, was recorded live in front of an audience.
