Philadelphia, PA - This April, “Earth Month,” the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is collaborating with The Walt Disney Company, including Disney Citizenship, Disney|ABC Television Group and ESPN, to revitalize parks across the U.S. for the third year, including a park in Philadelphia. Philadelphia Pa. –  As Streets Department crews continue salting and plowing, Managing Director Mike DiBerardinis lifted the snow emergency declaration at 1 p.m. today. This means that parking is again allowed on snow emergency routes.  The Philadelphia Parking Authority will resume enforcement of all parking violations beginning at 4 p.m. The discounted parking rates at PPA Center City garages will continue until 4 p.m.  Anyone entering the garage after 4 p.m. will pay normal rates.Philadelphia Pa. –  As Streets Department crews continue salting and plowing, Managing Director Mike DiBerardinis lifted the snow emergency declaration at 1 p.m. today. Philadelphia's New PHLpreK Program Creates Teaching Opportunities

PHILADELPHIA PA – Mayor Jim Kenney's PHLpreK, the City of Philadelphia’s quality pre-K program, funded by the City of Philadelphia Soda Tax, has created 251 jobs to date. In a survey completed by PHLpreK providers last week, pre-K center owners and directors reported having created 191 teaching positions; 147 of which are full time and 44 are part-time. In addition, pre-K providers have hired 60 support and administrative staff members. The average wage reported is $14.72 per hour. Also See..
