Philadelphia, PA— Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has loosened indoor and outdoor Coronavirus-related crowd restrictions for events.
Pennsylvania Loosens Attendance Limits on Public Gatherings
Pennsylvania's new limits are now based on a sliding scale in proportion to crowd size to determine the venue's capacity.
The brand new rules will go into effect this upcoming Friday and replace the current limits of 25 people indoors and 250 outdoors.
The governor called the shift "a gradual adjustment to our lives as we learn how we can do things safely" or until there's a vaccine available.
The changes will allow for larger crowds, at both indoor and outdoor events, including school sports.
