While Mount Davis is an ideal destination throughout the year, the best time to visit is October, when the leaves change color.  Heavy snow and ice are not common in this area. In June, mountain laurel flowers bloom, adding beauty to your hike. If you don't want to hike to the summit, you can also stop by the Highpoint Lake Overlook to admire the view of the 383-acre lake, managed by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.

The mountain is an interesting sight, and you can take a scenic drive up the road to see the beautiful landscape. Mount Davis is open from 8 a.m. until sunset. You can also visit the AT&T tower and picnic area on Mount Davis. The view of the entire Lehigh Valley from the summit is a beautiful sight. There are also hiking trails and a picnic area nearby.
