Philadelphia, PA - The Penn Quakers and Yale Bulldogs will face off for the 86th time on Franklin Field this Friday, October 19th as the Quakers look to shut out the defending Ivy League champions!
In honor of the football game, Justin Hersker, Director of Food and Beverage at CO-OP at The Study, the modern American restaurant & lounge at the corner of 33rd and Chestnut sts., is partnering with Quaker City Mercantile, a one-of-kind force in the drinks industry, to host a Quakers vs Bulldogs happy hour, featuring two aptly named cocktails, The Quaker and The Bulldog — see what we did there?
From 4:30-6:30 pm this Friday, Penn football fans can get game-ready at CO-OP, as they cheers to the Quakers with two themed cocktails from Quaker City Shrubs, a new line of sparkling tart and tangy alcoholic beverages made with apple cider vinegar from Quaker City Mercantile.
- The Bulldog — Grapefruit Shrub, Vodka, Mint
- The Quaker — Blackberry Shrub, Citrus Vodka, Basil
Both cocktails will be available for $6 during happy hour.
Quaker City Shrubs representatives will be on-site with swag for imbibers, including koozies, key chains and more.
