Perfectly positioned as the "Gateway to the Cape," it is just a short, easy drive from Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, and Wildwood.
From the moment you walk through the doors, the atmosphere captures a lively, relaxed coastal energy. The owners have designed the space so guests feel like they are at an everyday beer fest, blending the best of beach and brewery culture. With spacious indoor taproom seating and an expansive outdoor setup often accompanied by live music, it is an inviting, family-friendly environment that feels like a true destination rather than just a quick pit stop.
A Dog-Friendly Patio and Exceptional Hospitality
I brought my pups here this past week to enjoy the outdoor patio, and we had an absolutely great time. Finding a brewery that is genuinely dog-friendly—rather than just merely tolerant of pets—makes a huge difference for weekend travelers and locals alike. The outdoor seating area gives dogs plenty of comfortable space to relax while you unwind with a drink.
What truly made the afternoon stand out was the hospitality. Handling a busy taproom floor while keeping outdoor tables happy requires a dedicated team, and the staff here were super nice, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Our server, Nicole, was an absolute rock star who went above and beyond to ensure both our table and our pups were well cared for throughout the visit.

The Brisket Cheesesteak: I ordered it, and it was nothing short of incredible. The brisket was mouth-tender, smoky, and perfectly balanced with melted cheese on a fresh roll. It is a hearty, memorable twist on a classic regional favorite that pairs effortlessly with a cold pint.

Ludlam Island Brewery combines a fantastic coastal location, a dynamic craft beverage menu, incredible BBQ, and genuinely warm hospitality.
