As the days begin to getting warmer, the call for cooking outdoors becomes stronger. By following our simple rules for grilling steaks, you can say goodbye to the days of dry, tough steaks. From a casual family dinner to a relaxed BBQ with friends, just follow the instructions below for a perfect barbecue experience.

Let's get started by preheating the grill to high. While the grill heats up take some time to brush the steaks on both sides with some oil and salt and pepper liberally. When the grill become hot enough that water evaporated withing seconds, place the steaks on the grill until golden brown or slightly charred, usually takes about 4 to 5 minutes. Next turn the steaks over and continue to grill 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare (an internal temperature of 135 degrees F), 5 to 7 minutes for medium (140 degrees F) or 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well (150 degrees F). Keep in mind that a big part of a great grilled steak is simply paying attention and not over-thinking the process. Finally transfer the steaks to a cutting board or platter, tent loosely with foil and let rest 5 to 10 minutes before slicing (Letting the juices to redistribute).
