ChefChefA pioneer in introducing traditional Venezuelan cuisine to Philadelphia, Suzarra-Campbell comes to the city from Caracas, the capital city where she first met her husband Robert Campbell. The couple opened their authentic bring-your-own-bottle (BYOB) in 2004, offering their traditional arepas in addition to large-plate specialties like pabellon criollo (shredded flank steak) and patacon, tostones stuffed with meat or veggies. Suzarra-Campbell is particularly proud of her ability to accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diners without compromising the flavors of her home country.
