Oloroso’s signature Basque Cheesecake has become a staple dessert on its ever-evolving Spanish tapas menu since opening in 2017. Executive Chef Jason Peabody is presenting the dish as one whole cake for those looking to enjoy it with loved ones at home. Whole servings of Basque Cheesecake (gluten-free) are available for online ordering for $90, with three varieties of toppings available for ordering à la carte.

The menu for Oloroso's New Year's Eve dinner boasts an elegant array of conserves, entrées, and desserts, including the Basque Cheesecake priced at $95 per person, as well as additional supplements to choose from, such as oysters, caviar, ibérico, and wagyu. Guests will also have the option to elevate their experience by adding a wine pairing priced at $75 per person.

"Great food truly does spread joy and bring people together this time of year," says Executive Chef Jason Peabody. "Because I grew up eating Basque-style cheesecake during the holidays, I am very excited to be able to offer this special to our guests for them to experience too."

Oloroso is a Spanish tapas restaurant and sherry bar in Center City, Philadelphia, and a part of the acclaimed Townsend Wentz Restaurant Group (A Mano, Oloroso, Townsend EPX, The Hayes). Chef / Owner Townsend Wentz opened Oloroso to fast success in 2017 with Executive Chef Jason Peabody leading the kitchen in crafting classic tapas-style dishes plus carefully curated cocktails from its bar program focused primarily on Spanish wines by the glass, sherry, and cider on tap. The restaurant currently opens at 4:30 on Tuesday through Sunday, closing at 10 pm on Tuesday - Thursday & Sunday 11 pm on Friday & Saturday It offers indoor & outdoor dining options.
