Owners Damon and Anthony Mascieri are very proud of their travel inspired menu, and have based menu selections off of national and international locations that they have traveled to throughout their lifetime.

PlentlyCafeRH 3Anthony realized his love for food and states that he always dabbled in cooking different cuisines with his own flair. His brother Damon, worked with him to find a perfect location where these culinary works could be enjoyed by all. With that came Plenty Café, with locations in East Passyunk and Rittenhouse. The original location is in the food focused & energetic neighborhood of East Passyunk in South Philadelphia at 1710 E. Passyunk Ave. The second location is in the Rittenhouse neighborhood in the heart of center city at 1602 Spruce St. If you have a travel bug, Plenty Cafe will deliver with its focus on the European model where specialty coffee, hand crafted food and a full bar are all available at all times.

Plenty Cafe specializes in handcrafted, high quality gourmet food and use natural, organic and local ingredients. Therefore, Plenty Cafe is able to provide the finest ingredients in their dishes with focus on taste, presentation, and of course, the pairing of a great cocktail or European spirit. Freshness is critical, and they pride themselves on having their consumers know where their food comes from, as well as how it is grown and raised. With plans of seasonal changes to their menu, Plenty Cafe will present new and heartier options, yet they will always continue to bring together coffee and cocktails. Plenty Cafe has the same amount of attention and focus on their coffee and cocktails. Amongst Plenty Cafes universal menu selections, patrons enjoy some menu items in particular that co-owner Anthony is extremely proud of. Of some of the smaller bites and boards, the Kimchi Deviled Eggs are a top seller. It is no question that they are such a hit, as they are delightfully presented with Pork belly, Gochujang, green onion. Other delicious options for smaller appetites include the Avocado Toast with Queso fresco, grilled corn, pickled onion, cilantro, and lime, and their Marinated Olives and Smoked Almonds.

For dinner, Plenty Cafe offers some evening items that can be selected anytime after 5pm. The Beet Salad is a colorful choice on this part of the menu that is similar to a work of art. It is presented with house made ricotta, fennel, pistachios, and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Most famous is their hearty Chicken Pot Pie with mixed vegetables, peas, cranberries, and baked with a crispy, puff pastry. The Lamb Meatballs are the pot pie’s biggest competitor, served in tomato sauce, harissa glazed carrots, Israeli couscous, and mint.

Plenty Cafe has a variety of sandwich selections for lunch and dinner. These include the New Orleans with house smoked spicy tasso ham, green apple, g jam, and gruyere in a demo-baguette, and the Barcelona with serrano ham, chorizo cantimpalo, Mahón cheese, tomato, arugula, and roasted red pepper aioli in a demo-baguette. Both of these bread-based masterpieces were awarded Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly.

Aperitivi varietals include the Campari from Italy which is made with bitters, orange peel, and Chinotto 7. This classic red bitter from Italy that helped define aperitif culture. There is also the Lillet from France which is made with orange and honey. This classic French aperitif is made from Bordeaux white varietals. Digestivi selections are served neat such as the vegetal Cynar and the juicy Luxardo Maraschino.
