Owners Todd & Laura Lyons announced that the first franchisee will be in University City and will be opening their new Love & Honey Fried Chicken location by early 2024.
Love & Honey Fried Chicken's unprecedented success and popularity made franchising an obvious choice for the husband and wife team. Looking towards expanding its presence with industry veterans and dedicated entrepreneurs to reach new markets while upholding its high standards for scratch-made food, exclusive recipes, and neighborly hospitality.
Love and Honey Fried Chicken opened its door back in 2017 in Northern Liberties and has since established itself as a popular dining spot in Philadelphia. Todd and Laura Lyons launched the concept after achieving individual success in food service management and culinary research and development.
The menu will showcase the restaurant's "greatest hits," including bestsellers and customer favorites like chicken tenders, sandwiches, and the Biscuit Jawn (available only on weekends). Northern Liberties restaurant currently sells over 750 pounds worth of chicken tenders each week as well as 600 sandwiches per month, representing 20% growth in three years.
