Fox Chase - Annual Get Your Rear in Gear Walk or Run Event

The family-friendly fundraiser will take place at the Please Touch Museum in Memorial Hall, and includes a 4-mile run, 2-mile walk, and a kids’ fun run. The annual event raises funds to support local efforts against colon cancer, including prevention, early detection, and treatment for the disease.

Registration opens at 7:00 am, and activities will get underway at 8:30. Surgical oncologist and native Philadelphian Jeffrey Farma, MD, FACS, and medical oncologist, Crystal Denlinger, MD, FACP are the co-leaders of the Fox Chase team. Both faculty members are excited to spearhead the Center’s involvement.

Entry fees are $27 for adults and $13 for children before March 19, and $35 for adults and $15 for children on race day. All Fox Chase team members will receive a free team T-shirt. Online registration ends Sunday, March 19, 2017 at midnight.
