Photo Pop Philly Artists and Partners AnnouncedAs the talk of the town last summer, Photo Pop Philly wanted to find buzz-worthy partners. Who better than the Philadelphia Flyers beloved mascot, Gritty! Capturing the essence of Sweet Paradise, guests will be sure to line up and strike a pose with Philadelphia's latest icon in sports. Photo Pop Philly first experienced the magic of Gritty during 90's Night in December, where the connection was undeniable between the mascot and our Photo Pop Flyers fans.

"We are thrilled to work with Gritty and the Philadelphia Flyers in our new exhibit and know guests will fall even more in love with Gritty after experiencing his installation," says Photo Pop Founder Kate Marlys.

Photo Pop is proud to also partner with BluEdge for another year, as well as introducing Yelp as a new sponsor. Also new is Xplore VR Studios, which will be creating a virtual reality experience inside the exhibit. There are still sponsorship opportunities available, and more sponsors will be announced throughout the season.

For the second consecutive year, Photo Pop is excited to be part of Wawa Welcome America. The multi-day festival features FREE multicultural and multigenerational events celebrating America’s birthday in America’s birthplace – Philadelphia. On July 1 and 3 from 9 am to 11 am, Photo Pop will offer free admission for the public into Sweet Paradise.

Featuring over ten local Philadelphia artists, Photo Pop is excited to announce the creatives behind the exhibit, including artists Ali Williams and Kristen Taylor. Also, multiple artists will present ideas of what “Sweet Paradise” means to them in The Pop Art Gallery. Expect works from Emily Taylor, Symone Salib, Ryan Evans, Joshua Ruggeri, Weston Welch, Tori Alexandra, and Perry Milou. During the opening celebrations, Photo Pop Philly alumni Benjamin J Howard and Alloyius will be creating live works of art.
