Showboat Resort in Atlantic City is transitioning into the autumn season with a massive expansion of its entertainment venues, meeting spaces, and event programming. Positioning itself as New Jersey's largest non-casino hotel and a premier year-round family destination, the property recently completed multi-million-dollar upgrades across its footprint to drive boardwalk tourism through the colder months.
To capture the fall corporate and convention market, the resort has unveiled freshly renovated guest rooms in its New Orleans Tower and officially reopened the Diamond Club. This 10,000-square-foot event space accommodates up to 400 guests and features an expansive ocean-view balcony, a full-service kitchen, and advanced A/V infrastructure. The Diamond Club joins nine other venue options on the property, including the massive 50,000-square-foot Terminal and the 38,000-square-foot Bourbon Room.
On the entertainment front, the 84-degree, climate-controlled Island Waterpark continues to draw families, featuring a newly expanded adult cabana area and an upcoming Spider-Man meet-and-greet on September 5. Next door, The Lucky Snake Arcade & Raceway—already the world's largest indoor arcade—has further expanded its footprint by debuting a new Carnival Midway with interactive additions like Dodgeball. To support the expanded attractions, the resort also launched two new culinary concepts: Éclair, serving French pastries and pizzas, and the beverage-focused Blissful Bubbles.
These physical expansions directly support a robust fall schedule that is bringing major regional expositions and entertainment properties to the Boardwalk:
- September 17–19: Atlantic City Fashion Week
- September 25 & October 23: Atlantic City TCG Show (Trading Cards, Pokémon, and Collectibles)
- October 9–10: GCW Presents "The ART OF WAR GAMES"
- October 17: NJ Dispensary Takeover Part 2 (Cannabis conference featuring a car show, food trucks, and live entertainment)
- October 18: The Atlantic City Barber Expo
