The Wildwoods - Wildwood Crest has approved a resolution permitting temporary outdoor seating for restaurants as well as retail businesses in response to social-distancing requirements in effect during the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.

Wildwood Crest Restaurants Outdoor Policy

The measure permits the temporary utilization of outside spaces on business property as well as adjacent borough property or public right of ways to be used for dining tables and or retail product displays.

Pre-existing restaurants may be permitted to use outdoor areas, and this includes pre-existing parking spaces for increased outside seating. However, outdoor cooking will be prohibited.

All proposed seating plans are going to be subject to the discretion of the zoning officer as well as the police department to safeguard public health and safety. All outside seating areas will have to close before 11 p.m.
