At the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, they are transforming the venue into an absolute culinary paradise for sour-craving foodies.
Pickle Pizza, Beer, and Milkshakes: Inside Philly's Massive National Pickle Day Feast
Unlimited Sampling on Pickle Row: The centerpiece of the tasting experience is "Pickle Row," where every ticket includes unlimited sampling of more than 100 pickle varieties. Twenty premium brands—including Philly's own Fishtown Pickle Project, Penny Pickles, and Delco Dills—will pour everything from traditional half-sours to adventurous flavors like Chamoy Pickle Chips, ghost pepper pickles, and even ramen- and elote-flavored brines.
A Menu of Pickled Everything: Beyond the jar, more than 50 food vendors will serve wild, pickle-themed culinary creations. The expansive menu includes:
- Pickle Pizza & Pierogies: Detroit-style Pizza from Underground Pizza and award-winning pierogies from Dymski.
- Deep-Fried Creations: Pickle egg rolls from Madi's On A Roll and cheesesteak-stuffed pickles.
- Sweet Treats: Nifty Fifty's is bringing a dedicated pickle milkshake bar, while other vendors will serve up pickle fudge, pickle popcorn, and freeze-dried treats.
Pickle Cocktails and Brews (21+): For adults, the beverage program is just as ambitious. Philadelphia's Evil Genius Beer Company has collaborated with Fishtown Pickle Project to pour an exclusive pickle beer. The bars will also feature a Jameson Irish Whiskey Pickle Back Station, The Original Pickle Shot, and pickle margaritas made with Stateside Vodka.
