Venango County's Rockland Furnace in Pennsylvania

Philadelphia, PA - A historic iron furnace can be found in the heart of the countryside of Venango County, Pennsylvania. The Rockland Furnace is approximately 25 feet high and has an 11-foot wide casting arch and a nine-foot wide tuyere arch. Located just a few miles outside of Pittsburgh, it is an interesting place to visit for the whole family. The best way to explore this attraction is to visit during the summer when the weather is nice, as the tuyere arch is closed during the winter.
