Troon Brewing can be found in a barn on 800 acres of rolling farmland. Alex Helms, founder and head brewer, is known for crafting high-quality beers that don't take themselves too seriously; an award-winning homebrewer who excels at creating unique hazy IPAs.
As soon as he had assembled his four-barrel electric brewing system with components from Portland Kettle Works, he initially intended to focus on mixed fermentation beers. But after expanding and experimenting with various recipes in his small system, it quickly became evident: going all in on mixed fermentation would not be feasible; instead, he decided to focus on what he does best: hazy IPAs and adjunct stouts.
Brick Farm Tavern serves its beer on draft at its farm-to-table restaurant and takes pride in serving farm-fresh fare from all over.
