Philadelphia, PA - We Are Philly and Giordano Garden Groceries are teaming up to give Philadelphian's an even bigger reason to be thankful this holiday season.
2,000 Turkeys & 2,000 Produce Boxes to Those in Need in Philadelphia
Two days before Thanksgiving, We Are Philly and Giordano Garden Groceries will be giving away 2,000 turkeys and 2,000 fresh produce boxes to those in need.
The turkeys and produce boxes will be split between two distribution locations in Philadelphia – The Deliverance Evangelistic Church and Acme on Snyder Ave.
Each produce box is complete with a combination of locally farmed bananas, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, celery, Brussels, iceberg lettuce, onion, butter, milk, eggs, and a selection of seasonal fruits.
This is the same group that sold over 100,000 red, green, orange, and blue "We Are Philly" branded t-shirts that raised over $100,000.00 towards feeding those in need throughout the pandemic.
