Cafe Lift Expands to New Location in Spring Garden Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PACafé Lift moves to Spring Garden Street - Michael and Jeniphur Pasquarello opened Cafe Lift in 2003 inside a historic, renovated factory on 13th Street in Philadelphia's Callowhill district. The daytime cafe still serves brunch and breakfast to large crowds every day of the week, 20 years after it opened.

Cafe Lift Philadelphia's new space is located at 1124 Spring Garden Stree. The bi-leveled space is approximately 3,300 square feet, almost twice the size of the original location, which was 1,800 square feet. The seats will increase from 65 to over 100, with 45 on the ground floor, 60 upstairs, and eight at the street-level coffee counter. Cafe Lift is open from 8 am to 3 pm weekly. Takeout, delivery, catering, and private events will be available on both floors.

Cafe Lift has expanded twice in the past year. The Pasquarellos opened an outpost of Cafe Lift in Haddonfield with a new menu that included New Jersey favorites like disco fries. The previous location was in Narberth, which opened in 2018. was closed in early 2020 before the COVID-19 Pandemic.
