A Taste of Italy at Chef Vola in Atlantic City

The restaurant is in the basement of an undersized three-story house that previously housed Ed Gold and Pina Vola. The restaurant's tenants lived upstairs, and the restaurant is named for the people who once lived there. Today, Michael's aunt, Carmella, lives in the apartment the two people once lived in.

The menu at Vola's is extensive and diverse. It is best known for its veal parm, but there's also a crab cake salad with olive oil and a cannellini green bean salad with provolone. Another popular dish at Vola's is his banana-cream pie.

The restaurant has won several awards, including the Best Italian Restaurant in the World. You can order various authentic Italian dishes and a dessert made of Italian cream. The restaurant also features a limoncello cream pie made with Southern Italian limoncello liqueur. It has been a favorite haunt of many Hollywood personalities.
