Just one year ago, The Baker Street Bread Company’s original bakeshop had been repurposed into Bakery Café, Northwest Philadelphia’s well-known café, and daytime restaurant. And, you can help them celebrate by being one of the initial 250 guests at the Café on Thursday, March 21st, and enjoy a complimentary Parisian-style premium baguette (no purchase required).
“What better way to commemorate the first anniversary of Baker Street Bread Co.’s growth than with premium bread?” said Tim Ivory, Vice President of Sales and son of Founder Tom Ivory. “Chestnut Hill has been home for 27 years between the bakery and, now, the Café, so we’d like to say ‘thank you to the community with a premium baguette…well, 250 of them!”
Beginning at 7 am, the initial 250 guests are going to enjoy a fee baguettes baked fresh in the Baker Street Bread Co.’s brand-new temperature and climate-controlled Point Breeze bakery. The newer facility has permitted Baker Street to expand its bread production by 250 percent.
Additionally, customers can take pleasure in breakfast bites, including Baker Street’s - Egg Steamer Sandwiches and Avocado Toast in addition to lunchtime favorites like the Ultimate Grilled Cheese, Turkey BLT, Best Chicken Salad Ever, amongst the mix.
Bakery Café is situated at 8009 Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill.
