Chefs Conference Set To Take Place in PhiladelphiaThe Chef Conference is set to take place in Philadelphia from April 12-15, 2024. This inaugural event aims to establish Philadelphia as a premier dining destination and hospitality hub. Founded by Mike Traud and presented by Visit Philadelphia and Resy, the conference brings together internationally renowned chefs, experts, and journalists for four days of unforgettable dining experiences, star-studded panels, and networking.

The conference will feature top names in the hospitality industry, including Tom Collichio, Gregory Gourdet, Gail Simmons, and Andrew Zimmern. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend panels, celebrity chef book signings, charitable events, and special collaborative dinners. One such dinner series, hosted by Italian food author Katie Parla and Sarah Cicolini of SantoPalato in Rome, will collaborate with Amanda Shulman at Her Place Supper Club.

In addition to the conference, there will be ancillary public events such as pop-up dinners, book events, and happy hours throughout Philadelphia. Panel discussions and thought leadership chats will occur on April 15 at The Study at University City.

The Chef Conference aims to provide a platform for meaningful discussions on important industry issues. It differs from other conferences by incorporating journalists and reporters who cover these issues, offering a different perspective. The conference also focuses on creating safe, diverse, and inclusive spaces for the restaurant community to connect, share best practices, and foster relationships through open dialogue.

The presenting sponsorship by Visit Philadelphia and Resy allows the conference to reach broader consumer audiences. Open-to-the-public dinner events will give locals and visitors a chance to experience world-renowned chefs collaborating with the best restaurants in Philadelphia, including Friday Saturday Sunday, Her Place Supper Club, and Palizzi Social Club.
