Philadelphia, PA - Root Café in West Chester CBD-infused FareIt is the latest culinary craze and Chef and Owners Dan Merola and John Hearn of Root Café in West Chester could be the very first to create CBD-infused food and beverages for local diners. The Cafe is going to host a five-course CBD dinner at Roots Café on Thursday, February 28 from 6 – 10 p.m. for $80 per person.


“Every day, CBD gets more and more popular, and its legal in Pennsylvania now,” said Merola and Hearn. “Chefs in Philadelphia CBD for a while and we wanted to offer local diners the opportunity to experience this food trend. “It has so many health benefits, and we want people to feel good when they experience Roots Café — this is just another way to do that.” The CBD among the courses with a total of 10 mg for the entire dinner. Each course will also be available CBD-free.

Along with the unique CBD dinner, Roots Café produces its very own CBD honey, available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It on a spoon, which measures out to 5.6 mg of CBD and will cost you $5 per serving. “It’s something our guests can add to their coffee, tea or granola,” said Merola and Hearn. Cannabidiol CBD is a marijuana chemical that has immense medical advantages and yet zero psychoactive side effects. CBD is an attractive alternative for anybody searching for relief from inflammation, pain, anxiety, psychosis, seizures, spasms, and various other ailments without having disconcerting feelings of lethargy or dysphoria.

Roots Café, found in the downtown area West Chester at 133 E. Gay Street, is a locavore eatery providing creative, organic American fare in a rustic, positive space with a patio area.
